Pangaea

If you were to pull away,
you’d leave behind inlets in my skin,
and I’d always be able to see what part
used to fit where.


 

Cat Ennis Sears graduated from VCU in 2007 with a degree in English. She received an MFA from Emerson College and an MT in teaching from VCU. She has taught writing at Emerson College and English at Thomas Jefferson High School. Her work has appeared in the Chicago Quarterly Review, Fringe, Corium Magazine and the Printer’s Devil Review, been nominated for the 2011 AWP Intro Journal Awards and received honorable mention in a Glimmer Train short fiction contest. She is currently a publishing coordinator at a market research company.
